Increased Cushioning for a Softer, Safer Lawn
Our 20mm Shockpad is a fully drainable, easy-to-install underlay designed to provide enhanced comfort, cushioning and improved impact absorption beneath artificial grass.
Compared to 10mm shockpad, the 20mm option offers noticeably greater softness underfoot, making it ideal for family gardens and more frequently used lawn areas.

Drainage & Performance
Manufactured using closed-cell polyolefin foam, 20mm Shockpad does not absorb water.
It features pre-punched drainage holes and a grid-sliced structure on both sides, allowing water to drain freely through the system and into the sub-base below ensuring your artificial grass installation remains fully permeable.
How to Install
Sub-base Installation:
- Lay onto a fully prepared and compacted sub-base.
- Butt joints tightly together and secure with duct tape.
- Lay artificial grass directly over the shockpad.
Concrete Base Installation:
- Lay directly onto the clean, level concrete surface.
- Butt joints tightly together and secure with duct tape.
- Lay artificial grass directly over the shockpad.
If required, use concrete adhesive or Aquabond to secure around the perimeter.
