Our 10mm Shockpad is a fully drainable, easy-to-install underlay designed to sit beneath artificial grass to provide added comfort, cushioning and surface smoothness.

Ideal for general garden use, this Shockpad enhances underfoot feel without significantly increasing overall surface height.

Drainage & Performance

Manufactured using closed-cell polyolefin foam, 10mm Shockpad does not absorb water.

It features pre-punched drainage holes and a grid-sliced structure on both sides, allowing water to flow freely through the system and into the sub-base below.

This ensures your artificial grass remains fully permeable.

How to Install

Sub-base installation:

  1. Lay onto a fully prepared and compacted sub-base.
  2. Butt joints tightly together and duct tape together
  3. Lay artificial grass directly over the Shockpad.

Concrete base installation:

  1. Lay onto a fully prepared concrete or slab area.
  2. Butt joints tightly together and duct tape together
  3. Lay artificial grass directly over the Shockpad.

If required use concrete adhesive or Aquabond to fix around the perimeter.

When Should You Upgrade to 20mm?

If you require greater impact absorption or enhanced cushioning, consider:

  • 20mm Shockpad
  • 20mm / 25mm / 35mm Kids Play Shockpads

Thicker Shockpads provide increased fall protection and comfort.
